DHA App Library, AHQR TeamSTEPPS, ePSS, ePocrates, MedScape
General Information
Most resources require you to set up an individual account within the resource to use apps or allow for offsite login. You must initially registerusing a Defense Health Agency (DHA)-networked computer. These accounts are mostly separate from your Athens account (if you have one) and are specific to individual resources. BrowZine and UCentral are the only apps that use OpenAthens login credentials.
If you receive an error message during app setup, delete and reinstall the app.
Resource access may expire or require renewals for ongoing use. This may be done several ways, depending on the resource. For example, some may allow renewal by going to the resource from a DHA-networked computer before it expires and logging into your personal account, while others may send a new code.
Use a WiFi connection when installing, using an app for the first time, or updating an app. Do not try to install or update using data alone. Many apps require large downloads or extensive updates for initial setup. WiFi access will limit any potential data issues.
Registration and setup is usually a multistep process that must be completed from a DHA-networked computer. Plan to remain on the same DHA-networked computer for the entire process of registering, downloading, and logging into the resource or app.
Save your passwords and other login information. Library staff does not have access to that information.
