There is not an app for Lippincott Clinical Context content, but the content automatically adjusts to fit a mobile device screen when opened in a mobile browser. You can access each Lippincott Clinical Context resource via OpenAthens, but you can also access the content offsite for 90 days at a time without signing into OpenAthens if you establish a Lippincott Clinical Context account. To access content offsite without OpenAthens:
- On a DHA-networked computer, follow the link above or access the Library's intranet page. Select or scroll to the “A to Z List of Resources” and select the link for your desired product from the section that matches the first letter/number in the name of the product (for example, 5MinuteConsult is listed under the “0-9” button).
- In the top right corner, select the button that says “NMC Portsmouth (MHS)” or “anonymous user.”
- Select the “Create a Free Personal Account” button or the “account” button and “Create account” button. Fill out the form (you can use a personal email address).
- You should then receive an email at that email account with an activation link.
- After clicking on the activation, login with your new credentials.
- Lippincott Clinical Context content will automatically be available to you offsite for 90 days. After 90 days, log back into your Lippincott Clinical Context account on an NMCP-networked computer, which will prompt renewed access for another 90 days on any other device offsite.
NOTE: To continue access you must log into your personal account from a DOD PC every 90 days.
