Installing

Note: Your UpToDate account and app do not carry over to Lexi-Drug access, you will need a separate Lexi-Drug account and app.

  1. On a DHA-networked computer, follow the link above or access the Library's intranet page. Select or scroll to the “A to Z List of Resources” and select “Lexicomp (Medical) now UpToDate Lexidrug Standard" from the “L" section.
  2. When you get to the home page, select the blue “Mobile Access Codes" button within the “Help and Training Resources" box underneath the search bar.
  3. In the first drop down menu “Select your platform," choose the platform for your mobile device.
  4. In the second dropdown “are you a new or existing customer," select “New (app is not installed)."
  5. Follow all the instructions that appear below the drop-down menu. Make sure to use your “.mil" email address when creating your account.
  6. When you have finished creating your account, have entered the Activation code from the instructions, and have entered the pin sent to your “.mil" email account, download the Lexidrug app to your mobile device from your app store.
  7. Log into your newly-registered account on your mobile app. To test if you have Lexidrug Standard, select the three horizontal lines in the top right corner, then “Preferences", then “My Subscriptions." It should list “Lexi-Drugs."
  8. To download Lexi-Drugs Standard access for offline use, select the three horizontal lines in the top right corner, then select “Library," then press the Download icon to the right of “Lexi-Drugs."

Existing users: Confirm that the email address on your subscription is your “.mil" email address. If you registered with your personal email account, you must change your email address with Lexidrug.

  1. Log into your mobile account on the Lexidrug website at http://www.lexi.com/account/ using the email with which you registered for Lexidrug or Lexicomp.
  2. Click on the “Change Email Address" link on the right side of the screen. Change your address to your “.mil" address and click on the UPDATE button.
  3. Your app should continue to function, but you will still need the activation link to update your subscription.

Reactivate the subscriptions by following the directions above. Instead of choosing “New (app is not installed)" in the second dropdown menu, select “Existing (already have the app)."​
